The trip is going to be a self supported sea kayak expedition circumnavigating the south of England Paddling over 800 miles through 15 counties portaging 100 locks navigating at least 4 major estuaries 5 firing ranges and 4 busy shipping channels.
I am doing the trip for several reasons not least to have a great home grown adventure, I am going to raise Money for the Marine Conservation Society and hopefully raise the bar of what's considered achievable in a Plastic Sea kayak
I just had the pleasure of a warm pub evening chatting life with Si. If you meet him on the trip, and he's not blowing out of his a*** to the point where he can muster some words, I urge you to have a conversation. You won't find a more honest, passionate and articulate man paddling round the South of England. This summer.
