Distance confirmed

So the big number is up 1300km door to door I'll post a map soon
   if Im honest one of my biggest concerns for the trip has been paddling the solent mid summer I'd been advised to go at night to avoid the domestic traffic, and having done some research I feel quite comfortable now, no where near as scary as I thought it would be, one less crux to contend with. I'm looking forward to finishing work tomorrow to get some night miles in!
